I started with a post about this photo because it shows an awful lot about my life, in spite of me not being in the picture. It is a picture of my future spouse, his older brother and little sister. Sitting on the porch of my future house. It doesn’t look like this anymore. The cedar shingles were covered in aluminum siding a few years later and the porch was replace with a concrete porch with wrought iron rails during the ’80s. But the mailbox still exists. Until this last summer it was still the mailbox! And these are good people.
