Husband, the four dogs and I have traveled to Kentucky for a long weekend at Land Between the Lakes. It’s a beautiful area that doesn’t get enough press I think. It’s not early spring, but this year spring is very late and the colors are still the subtle range of late winter. We found the early spring flowers though and I am always inspired by the bits and pieces of forest floor that tend to be lost once the growing season really gets going.
